MY PRE-FLIGHT ROUTINE IN 7 STEPS
STEP ONE // A thorough face cleanse. I usually opt for this facial cleanser that includes a mild exfoliant.
STEP TWO // Red light mask. Before traveling, I always aim for one last session with my red light mask since I typically don’t take it along. I’m really attached to mine. You can purchase it here.
STEP THREE // The following step involves using resurfacing pads. I’m currently using these, which are effective without being too harsh on my skin.
STEP FOUR // I’ve tried to make applying serum a daily habit. Often when I’m hurried, I tend to skip this step, but never on travel days. I use these drops. Don’t forget your neck and chest as well!
STEP FIVE // As I age, I’ve begun enhancing my under-eye routine. Currently, I’m using this formula and loving it. A tiny dab is all you need!
STEP SIX // Planes are notoriously dry. Because of this, I always seek to apply the thickest moisturizer before heading to the airport. My current pre-flight regimen features this moisturizer alongside this cream.
STEP SEVEN // Don’t forget the SPF – even if you are spending a lot of time indoors or it’s winter! My top choices are this one and this one.
WHAT I BRING ON THE PLANE
Once I’m aboard, I like to have a few essential beauty items conveniently accessible in-flight. These help me stay fresh, hydrated, and ready to get started.
