It\u2019s tough to envision a city more fitting for Danielle Guizio than Los Angeles. The designer from New York has cultivated a brand that celebrities and influencers adore, turning a West Hollywood storefront into a natural progression rather than just an extension. Until recently, however, Guizio had only established stores in New York City (SoHo) and, more recently, Aventura, Florida. Her inaugural West Coast location, at 8723 Melrose Ave., is also her largest: 3,200 square feet nestled in the core of WeHo\u2019s retail district.<\/p>\n
\u201cLos Angeles has always been such an integral part of our community, so opening here seemed like the logical next move,\u201d Guizio tells Fashionista via email. \u201cMelrose boasts an iconic fashion heritage, and I was thrilled by the prospect of contributing to that narrative while crafting a destination that feels uniquely Guizio.\u201d<\/p>\n
The shop took inspiration from a residence in the French countryside where Guizio once resided, which had \u201cthis effortless warmth and charm,\u201d she explains. Collaborating with her friend and interior designer Brandi Howe, she captured that ambiance through oversized floral furnishings, a soft green carpet, and light wood shelving. \u201cWe blended that sentiment with elements of a dollhouse to fashion a space that feels welcoming and immersive,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n
As per the designer, the store features the brand\u2019s entire collection, offering all sizes (XXS to XXL) in ready-to-wear, denim, outerwear, footwear, handbags, and more. The Micro Mini Stretch Skirt ($78) remains a top seller, alongside the chiffon Ara Top ($128). Accessories have been a fresh addition: Guizio introduced its debut in-house footwear line in May 2025, followed by handbags this past April. She conveyed to Fashionista at the time that her aim is for her brand to serve as a \u201cone-stop shop\u201d for her audience.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe brand has truly established its identity over the last five years,\u201d Guizio reflected in the same interview. \u201cIt evolved into more of a lifestyle than just a product. Many people are unaware that the brand has existed for 10 years. We really took our time.\u201d<\/p>\n
